Frequently Asked Question
1. Right click Start Button -> Select "Run"
2. In the run box, enter "control" press enter
3. Ensure the View By drop down is set to "Large Icons"
4. Select the Network and Sharing Center Icon
5. Select Change Adapter Settings
6. Right click the "vpn.mslcc.com" adapter, select properties
7. Go to the Security tab
8. Select the Properties button under the EAP option
9. Your window will look like this
10. Change the following
Connect to these servers: Current: 2012dc.mslcc.com -> Change to: nps01.mslcc.com
Trusted root certification Authorities: check all named "MSLCC-PKI-01" (you may only have 2 or 3 options of this entry)
When done it will look like this
11. Select Configure next to "Smart Card or other certificate"
12. The next windows will look very similar to this
13. Change the following
Connect to these servers: Current: 2012dc.mslcc.com -> Change to: nps01.mslcc.com
Trusted root certification Authorities: check all named "MSLCC-PKI-01" (you may only have 2 or 3 options of this entry)
When done it will look like this
14. Press OK on the Smart Card or other Certificate Properties window
15. Press OK on the Protected EAP Properties window
16. Press OK on the vpn.mslcc.com Properties window
17. Connect the VPN
18. VPN should be connected
