As of April 2020 we now have the ability to do bulk conferencing via our local Mitel system.
***Your extension must be enabled prior to using this feature. If you are unable follow the steps in this article it is likely this access has not been enabled for you. Please email helpdesk@mslcc.com and request conferencing be enabled for your extension***
After access rights are granted, be sure to logout and login to your connect client prior to proceeding with these instructions.
Via Outlook
1. From your outlook calendar, select new appointment.
2. Select the Conference option from the ribbon
3. A conference will be created for you. Details will be added to your meeting invite. You can send this out to invitees and they will have all the details needed to join the conference.
Via Connect Client
1. Click your name from the upper left of the connect client.
2. Your first conference details are already created for you.
Optional: Create new/separate meetings
3. You can create alternate meetings by selecting Add New Conference Bridge
4. Fill in the details:
Name - used only to identify the meeting.
Organizer Code - 6-8 digit code. This is a unique ID the system will use to identify you are the organizer of the meeting.
You can then expand More Settings to set the appropriate options if you need.
Click Add when completed.
5. Connection details will be created off of what you entered.
6. You can use the copy button to aid you in sending the conference details out to attendees.
