-Important Note: Voicemail behaves uniquely in these situations depending on where you send the call. There are 2 scenarios that can occur in this situation:
- Scenario 1: If you send the callers to a destination that has no call timeout or voicemail, the caller will never receive a voicemail. Their call will continue to ring at the destination or escalated destinations until the call is handled or the caller hangs up. Voicemail less / forever ring destination are typically associated with locations like Nurses Stations.
- Scenario 2: If you send the call to a destination that has voicemail enabled, when the max ring count is reached at the destination, the caller will be sent back to your voicemail and not the voicemail of the forwarded destination. This can be less than desirable in coverage situations, however this is by design and there is no way to compensate for this behavior.
